- Busy Kids Nursery is situated in Charlton Down’s Village Hall and is open Monday to Friday offering flexible hours from 8 am to 4 pm. 2 Year old’s play sessions are also available on Tuesday & Friday mornings from 9 am to 12.30 pm.

- St Osmund’s CE VA Middle School is the feeder school from St. Mary’s CE VC First School, Charminster.
- The Thomas Hardye VA School is the feeder school from all of the Dorchester Middle Schools.
